Ciresa

100% Barbera. Ciresa vineyard in Strevi. Old vines with south-easterly exposure. Sandy-marl soil.

Grapes are selected and hand-picked into small crates. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in small stainless steel tanks. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged in oak barrels. Bottling takes place after at least 18 months of aging.

Intense ruby red color, tending to garnet. Elegant and persistent nose, hints of vanilla and licorice, fruit and spices. Full-bodied and harmonious on the palate, fresh and savory.

It accompanies all rich and flavourful meat, pasta and risotto dishes, as well as ripe cheeses.
Store the bottle horizontally in a cool, dark place. Open and let it rest for a few minutes. Serve in large glasses at 18°C. Suitable for ageing for over 10 years.
