100% Barbera. Marenco vineyards in Fontanile and Cassine.

Grapes harvested by hand at full ripeness. Vinification in steel, aging in concrete tanks for 9 months.

Ruby red color with purple hues. Intense and persistent aromas with clear hints of red fruits and balsamic notes. On the palate it is full, crisp, harmonious, intense and and persistent.

Appetizers, pasta and risotto, main courses of white and red meats, aged cheeses. La Bassina is also the perfect glass when cooking, when waiting for friends, as an aperitif.
Store in a cool, dark place. Open and serve at 18°C in medium-sized wine glasses. The delicate tannins of Barbera make La Bassina excellent even when served cooler on summer days.
