Albarossa

100% Albarossa, a cross between Chatus (Nebbiolo di Dronero) and Barbera. Well-exposed Marenco vineyards in a renowned growing area.

Grapes are selected and hand-picked into small crates. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in small stainless steel tanks. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged in oak barrels. Bottling takes place after at least 18 months of aging.

Intense ruby red color tending towards garnet. Intense, enveloping, complex bouquet, with a prevalence of fruity sensations, with a pleasant component of nutmeg and other spices. Full-bodied and structured flavor, persistent and harmonious.

Excellent with cured meats, boiled meats, roasts, and aged cheeses. Suitable for red meat dishes, liver, or offal cooked with herbs. A must-try with stewed, fried, or grilled fish dishes. Store the bottle lying down in a cool, dark place. Open and let rest for a few minutes. Serve in large glasses at 18°C. Suitable for aging for over 10 years.
